Especially post-menopause, when decreasing levels of oestrogen are associated with a decline in muscle mass and an increase in visceral fat, resistance training gives us an edge in combating these changes

    Most people know that exercise releases endorphins that make you feel good during and just after exercise. Regular exercise has been shown to have a prolonged positive effect on mood and can help alleviate symptoms of stress and anxiety

    Our work together builds foundations for exciting stuff outside the gym. Age is no barrier to new challenges or hobbies, whether it's skiing your first run, learning to windsurf, running up that hill without stopping, conquering the three peaks or dancing the whole night at a festival. Whatever your passion, it feels better when you're full of energy and can stay the course!

    Sometimes it's just really nice to be with like minds, others who have chosen to prioritise themselves and carve out a few hours a week to have fun and get strong and fit. We learn together, challenge & support each other

I also offer remote coaching and programming, with completely personalised programmes supported by weekly or biweekly personal contact.
